“As we have seen previously, moral reasoning, involves two basic steps. First, the type of moral problem must be identified. Knowing whether it is a factual, conflict of rules, or conflict of principles type of problem is necessary to guide our reasoning. Next, we must formulate a good reasons argument for each possible solution. In such arguments, possible solutions are defended by finding as many reasons as possible to support them.
