A Movie ‘Love Is All You Need’

            Love is all you need is a romantic short movie directed by Susanne Bier and stars Pierce Brosnan. He plays Philip a miserable widower who lost his wife and is only committed to his business. While on his way to attend his son’s wedding in Italy, his car gets involved in an accident. It is being crashed by Ida’s car (Susanne, n.p). Ida is in a state of distress because of the unfaithfulness of her husband even after her survival from cancer, thus, she undergoes a tough moment in her marriage. Philip becomes angry but again realizes that Ida is the mother to his son’s wife. He resolves to accompany her to the airport.

            The movie has two surprising aspects; it features the bride and the groom panicking about the coming wedding. It also features Ida’s husband as he brings his blonde girlfriend. This film represents a sorrowful familial drama as the two families try to endure some commotions. The film shows how the two families go through ups and downs (Susanne, n.p).

            While at the wedding, Ida’s husband, Leif comes with his new girlfriend and people are so surprised as they introduce. On the other hand, Philip gets attracted to Ida and they both dance during the celebration. The morning of the wedding, the groom disappears, but his father finds him. On finding him, he confesses that he is not willing to marry because he was just doing it in order to please his father (Susanne, n.p). Before the ceremony, the awaited groom plus his bride inform the guests that they were not getting married and that marks the end of the ceremony.
