It should have an introduction with a thesis, what sex is, the advantages of sex, types of forms, how it evolved and a conclusion. I recommend starting out broadly and trimming when you have too much to work with. You can focus specifically on mammals or Humans, or maybe to look at sex and reproduction (Which will include all kinds of life)?  If you limit it to Plants and animals you will have less territory to cover, but more than enough to work with.
