Instructions:

Write a 5-page double-spaced paper describing some of the 1) kinship and marriage practices; 2) spiritual and/or religious beliefs and practices; AND 3) the gender categories that exist in your culture and some of the gender roles of the same culture you will select for your oral presentation from Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, or any of the small islands of the South Pacific.  You must have a reference page formatted in APA style, and your reference page must be the 6th page of your paper.  You should have a title page for your paper with your first, middle, and last names, the course name: Cultural Anthropology, and the due date clearly typed; do not forget the title of your paper on this page as well.  The title page does NOT count as one of your 5 pages of text required for this paper.  You will be graded on 5 complete pages of double-spaced text as well as a correctly formatted reference page on the 6th page.  You must use in-text citations for paraphrased material and for information stated in quotations.  You need to use no more than three quotations in your entire paper.  The vast majority of your paper should be written in your words, but not your opinions.  This is NOT an opinion paper.  You must do research, and the entire paper must have in-text citations, for example, (Smith, 2017).
