  •             The reason why humans are not harmed by pesticides is that they can be able to avoid the harmful effects associated with many of the pesticides by simply avoiding direct exposure to them (Sizer, Frances, Piché, and Whitney 496).
  • #2
  •             Pesticides are always risk visible. Manufactures always give illustrations on how to use them and avoid exposure. This is because they cause there are poisonous and humans ought to handle them with care.

  •             The labels listed on pesticide containers are listed in way that is visible and understandable for everyone to comprehend. This is done in accordance with the set rules and regulations by the government. Nowadays, pesticide health laws indicate through documentation various acute diseases that like cancer that pesticides might cause in the human body.

  •             Many sickness and illness occur even after the government tests the pesticides because of various reasons. One of the reasons is that many pesticide users fail to follow the recommended methods of handling and preparing. The users also fail to follow guidelines on how to mix and apply the pesticides therefore leading to poor use of these chemicals.

  •             Diluted pesticide is also harmful to humans. Most the manufactures indicate the toxic levels on the containers with the pesticide.

  •             Even if pesticide enters in water system and waste into large quantities, it is also harmful. The water is not safe for drinking to both humans and animals. This is because the chemicals associated with pesticides, even if in low-amounts cause reduction in the level of essential hormones.

  •             Genetically modified food were created to help people who are hungry and in need of help. The aim of creating these types of crops was to develop food that could manage to survive in harsh conditions exposed to use of chemicals and pesticides.

  •             There is a major threat of genetically modified food causing extinction of indigenous species. This is because nowadays, most people tend to depend on GM food because they have many advantages. Some of the advantages include the fact that the foods were tested and proven to be safe. The other advantage is that GMO food causes in an increase in yields. Moreover, GMO causes reduction in the use of agricultural chemicals.

  •             There is an increase of allergens when people feed on genetically modified food. The increase is associated with proteins in this type of food. However, this claim is not justified by many scientists. If GM plant that containing genes with allergies is detected, it will never be allowed to have any chance of receiving approval for gene crossing. Unless the manufacturing company indicates the genes that crossed with others, it will be hard to know (Guillermo 27).

  •             The public should be made aware of genetically modified food in the market. This would therefore help in making the decision whether to use the food or not. This is because genetically modified food is associated with causing various allergic diseases and therefore people it would be wrong to give people without knowing (Burke 1046).

  •             The agency is responsible for making sure that all the pesticides in the market are registered for particular specified use. It is the obligation of the agency to make sure that the all the pesticides does not pose as potential risks to human health (Krieger 627).
  • #12
  •             There is a significance importance of the new technology in relation to the current and future use of pesticides. The pesticides ought to be safe because the amount of toxic waste is reduced. Moreover, the public ought to be educated on the use pesticides to minimize risk occurrences.
  • #13
  •             The fact is that genetically modified food can be used to produce food in large quantities and therefore help to curb hunger. However, the food cannot be produced in large quantities to curb world hunger because not all people in the world accept the use of genetically modified food (Cantani 1480).
  • #14
  •             Genetically modified food cannot be used instead of crops that require use of pesticides. This is because not all people accept the use of this type of food. Some scientists claim that use of genetically modified food causes harmful effects to both people and animals.
  • #15
  •             Genetically modified food can be used as an alternative where other crops are able to grow. This is because this type of food tends to be resistance to harsh conditions and can survive for a longer time compare to other species in this type of conditions.
