Paper Instructions:

Assignment Overview
This final assignment is designed to help you conceptualize and articulate the basic characteristics of the proposed research plan you have been working on this quarter. In the weeks gone by, you have learned how to logically structure or design a study meant to uncover data that produces a clear-cut answer (or answers) to the research question (or questions). You have also learned how to search the literature, identify your participant pool, and gather and analyze data. However, the study you propose has no meaning or purpose until you write and present a report of the findings to those interested (Neuman, 2012).
By successfully completing this assignment, you will demonstrate your proficiency in the following EPAs and practice behaviors:
C4: Engage In Practice-informed Research and Research-informed Practice
C4.GP.A  Use practice experience and theory to inform scientific inquiry and research.
Related Assignment Criteria:
1. Explain the process of refining a research problem into a measurable research question and attendant sub-questions.
2. Describe the literature included in the annotated bibliography and present it in an integrated manner, in narrative form.
C4.GP.B  Apply critical thinking to engage in analysis of quantitative and qualitative research methods and research findings.
Related Assignment Criteria.
2. Describe the literature included in the annotated bibliography and present it in an integrated manner, in narrative form.
3. Describe primary sources for data collection.
4. Explain methods of data collection and analysis for the study.
6. Apply assessment, prevention, intervention, and evaluation to the study.
7. Evaluate potential for further study of the research problem.

Assignment Description
In this assignment, you will write a research plan that includes a precise yet succinct discussion about the research problem. Include in your plan a section that includes the following:
Identify the research question and subquestions.
Synthesize the information that you read in the articles used for your annotated bibliography, explaining how they have informed you as you plan a study of your own.
Identify the potential research participants and justify why you would select them to participate in your proposed study.
Discuss the methods you would use in your proposed study—include your methods of data collection and data analysis.
Describe how you might write a final report of your findings, and to whom you might present it.
End this assignment with a recap of the proposed research design and concluding remarks, focused on recommendations for future study.
