Students will complete an assessment of a case study for this course from a selected chapter of the Decision Cases for Generalist Social Work Practice provided by the professor.  The case study will be completed following the content on social work practice with individuals and will be submitted to the course professor by the dates listed on the calendar.  The case study paper must be minimally three complete pages, double spaced and provide the following information:

Presenting problem and discussion of issues related to the presenting problem.

Your assessment of the main difficulties of the client systems and strengths to restructure the problem/issues.  (You can build on your knowledge from HBSE I and II.)

Professional literature about the problem/issues.  (Based on your assessment, you are to find two articles or practice resources that address the problem/issues identified in this case.  This literature is to be presented in at least a half page write-up that provides insight from the professional literature and explains how this information helps in understanding the case study problem or issue.)

Your plan of two goals and appropriate interventions for working with the client system (i.e. individual and/or family goals and interventions, including at least one intervention for each goal). Express potential ethical problems or how ethics enhances the situation. 
The paper should be minimally three typewritten pages, excluding title page and references. Cite textbook or other sources (journals and books) to support your points and to present theoretical content, while using APA style (reference the APA resources that are posted on the welcome page of the course).
