What is the role of naturopathic medicine/naturopathic doctors in the healthcare system?

Questions and Topics We Can Help You To Answer:

  • Why do you want to become a naturopathic doctor? • What is the role of naturopathic medicine/naturopathic doctors in the healthcare system? • How do you see the naturopathic profession evolving? • Discuss any life experiences that have helped to prepare you for the rigorous academic demands and individual challenges associated with this program of study. (need some scientific background in genetics for examples of specific research that can complement the field or whatever. also rigorous program and study habits) How I CAME ABOUT was my … Optimizing results by better understanding patients and their idiosyncrasies There are differences in patients that go beyond just their genetic makeup and/or the symptoms present in their medical issue. WHY I’ve had a desire to help people, stemming from my brother’s health problems as a child. This desire for improving the health of others is what motivated me through my undergrad. More specifically, I find that the ND program better achieves my goal of patient care and improved health. NDs have different approaches to their practice which is tailored to the patient. This method makes NDs better equipped at dealing with specific issues because they specialize into the methods they are most experienced with. They are not restricted to just one method, such as prescribing medication, but are able to utilize their other skills and qualifications? Don′t compare really. I don′t want to bash MDs at all, they are based on research and are pushing the scientific culture and stuff. I am gripped by the holistic approach that an ND offers in treating their patients. From my scientific background, I find that there was an overreliance on established norms or presсrіptions, which lacks a well-rounded treatment of patients. As an ND, I find that they incorporate multiple avenues of research, history, medicine, and psychology to treat patients. They consider all possibilities and listen to their patients. The bond between ND and patient is stronger and more interactive, rather than MDs viewing patients in terms of symptoms and using the “tried and true” methods. Treating patients as individuals Different approaches I find that my background in the sciences compliments the ND field. Md approaches have a narrow focus, which while helpful in being precise, lacks extensive research on all possibilities. Something which may be dismissed outright because it lacks the current norm of acceptance within the MD community could actually help the patient (many of these therapies together maybe (I don′t know the word, integrated practice or medicine?) Many outside methods still have scientific backing behind them. Nd doesn’t subtlety undermine the relevant science, or base around pseudo-science. integrate a hefty scientific perspective might help https://integratedconnects.com/2012/05/15/stop-labeling-them-as-woo-woo-and-educate-about-integrative-healing-therapies/ No boring facts, story. I know first hand what injuries do to performance Worked in lab undergrad where I researched the effects of alcohol on cellular pathways of rats using mRNA microchip technology. My research was conducted at the campus lab. I also worked withflys and tested the effects nutrition had on the offspring number. I did a seminar on Neurodegeneration which I′ll attach here. BACKGROUND I come from an extensive scientific background, having studied genetics in my undergraduate program. I found the rigorous approach clear, effective, and motivating. Examples. I find this complexity would offer a unique perspective in the ND field, which would help me excel in the program. In addition, this fusion offers new opportunities of research and conduct within the naturopath field. I have attended ND clinics and observed the patient progress that occurs. What did you observe? How was the day structured? What would doctor-to-patient interaction look like? I have first-hand experience interacting with patients and observing the practices of NDs. How did the doctors interact with their patients (what did the conversations look like)? Where the interactions and methods different? How? I had one-on-one conversations with registered NDs such as X and Y. They picked up on my enthusiasm for the profession, and I learned a great deal of how ND clinics operate. How do ND clinics operate? What did you learn specifically? Differing from MD or undergrad. Sometimes MD clinics have a one issue per visit culture. For example, I learned how to XYZ. ROLE FUTURE then evolving: The goal is to develop... My university professor asked me to help her and refresh their memories. I wrote a few paragraphs for instructions for each reference below. One reference needs to be for my university professor who taught me genetic engineering. For her, I need to give qualities that I showed in her class as well as examples of those qualities. I′ve written some things below but wanted to put them in a concise manner, as well as possibly add more. I want to also write how I′m ready for naturopathic school maybe given the complexities of the class and subject and what I did to prepare. This letter should be from her perspective. My second letter is regarding my volunteering at a osteopathic clinic called Almax Health under my osteopathic doctor. I′ve known the doctor for many years and I am writing this letter regarding my volunteering at his clinic this summer. Both one page ss. Same goes for the osteopathic clinic. I wanted to make it more concise but definitely also wanted to add some specific examples of how I interacted with the patients possibly and detail about personal patient injuries or how I saw them recover over time or something. where do I show my passion, empathy, work ethic, independent work, following instructions, case solving, in both of these letters but for this one especially. For clinic. I have known Aleks for many years, first as a child coming to my clinic to treat/rehabilitate his feet for basketball. He injured his ankle during hs around the time he was talking about possibly playing in college. He asked if he can help by volunteering from time to time to learn about the profession. It was hs around this time, and he had injured his ankles. He wanted to play in college. He showed that he had a desire to help people. He was curious for learning about therapies and devices and had an enthusiasm for the profession. He learned a great deal of how osteopathic clinics operate. Provided a regular and reliable commitment. I’ve had a desire to help people, stemming from my brother’s health problems as a child (perthes disease, and thrombosis because of anti thrombin three deficiency) he saw my brother a lot, often had to align his back, he ended up with one leg much shorter. His hip had on and off ligament problems that he worked on too. He was also seeing Dr. Rona Zoltan and doing TCM practices for 4 years. He was always on blood thinners and is generally on a much smaller dose now. I know he didn′t do genetic testing on CYP enzymes This desire for improving the health of others is what motivated me through my undergrad. More specifically, I find that the ND program better achieves my goal of patient care and improved health. problem solving – was looking to gain practical experience in the health field Independent worker – Assisted with room setup and cleanliness. booking and confirming appointments? Helping the clinic run as smoothly as possible. Tries to Improve the clinical care of patients. First-hand experience interacting with patients and observing the practices. They picked up on my enthusiasm, and I learned a great deal of how osteopathic clinics operate. What did I learn specifically? Responsible – follow instructions and procedures when used as a second hand in treatment (ex. holding device), when assisting with set-up and tidiness. Timely fashion. An interest in working with people, comfortable in the healthcare setting assisting people who are experiencing complex health issues. assisting a complex patient population. supports a friendly, compassionate and supportive environment. comfortable volunteering in a challenging setting, Good communication and organizational skills Intuitive – Respect – Appreciation for the work. Assisted in.. comfort level with administrative tasks I am gripped by the holistic approach.. offers in treating their patients? worked directly with patients Under supervision by Dr Sergey or Dr. Ludmila. Business management skills High ethical standards and initiative: Demonstrated tolerance: compassion and empathy: Ability to handle stress and solve problems: FOR my genetic engineering professor: same qualities minus qualities like business and ethical standards. class grade and final test was A which was way above the class grade. went in and discussed the midterm leadership - had a study group and was enthusiastic to class and wanted to learn. problem solving and critical-thinking skills- final test had a genetic mite experiment and I got perfect which shows my ability of critical thinking skills good presentation on recent CRISPR-cas9 paper. motivation - to learn, had a connection with lectures in the way she was teaching. and prepare before hand asked questions to prepare for good lectures. interested in the topic and was eager to show my improvement in learning by doing exceptional in the final. specific personal qualities and characteristics. 3. Just examples for activities that exemplify those qualities that she could include in her letter. For my phd mentor who tutored me (sciences, mostly chemistry, research papers) and mentored me during my genetics specialization (future and academic careers). Please only give me examples for activities that exemplify those qualities that she could include in her letter (all the above with emphasis on these (with as much detail as possible) Management skills Ability to handle stress and solve problems Leadership Problem solving and critical-thinking skills Motivation - to learn, interested in the topic and showed my improvement in Learning as my mentor and educator for many years, she can desplay my strengths and abilities. As well as specific personal qualities and characteristics. - showing pashion/empathy. Thanks
