Grading
Your concept map will be graded according to the following rubric:

•    4-5 pts – At least three main topics chosen for the first tier.  All first tier topics clearly relate to the central theme of the concept map.  Second and third tier clusters are correctly placed in relationship to first tier concepts.  Cluster and connection verbiage is used accurately but not excessively.  Source material is clearly cited.
•    2-3 pts – Two main topics chosen for the first tier.  First tier topics relate to the central theme of the map, but relationships between tiers may be illogical or do not follow a clear progression.  Excessive verbiage in clusters and/or connections.  Source material is clearly cited.
•    0-1 pt – No attempt is made, or an attempt is made but it is not at the 3 pt level.  Items are placed into the wrong clusters  or connections between clusters are incorrectly identified.  Minimum content requirements (less than three total tiers) are not present. Source material is not clearly cited.

•    4-5 – Provides feedback to two or more classmates with thoughtful and supportive responses.  Each feedback states a positive attribute and something that the reviewer thinks needs additional work within the concept map.  Each feedback provides a concrete idea for improving the reviewed concept map.
•    2-3 – Provides feedback to only one classmate with a thoughtful and supportive response.  Feedback states a positive attribute and something that the reviewer thinks needs additional work within the concept map.  Feedback provides a concrete idea for improving the reviewed concept map.
