Compare the current Covid-19 pandemic with another pandemic that has affected American history.  How does the current Covid-19 crisis compare and contrast to the pandemic you chose to explore historically?  Examples you can use include the Virgin Soil Epidemics that swept across indigenous communities, smallpox as it impacted colonial Euro-Americans in the colonial era, the Spanish Flu of the WWI era, Ebola in modern times, or others.

For this paper utilize data and examples from the Edwards' textbook for the historical pandemic.  Include at least TWO outside sources for the Covid-19 crisis from a reputable source such as a magazine like Newsweek, newspaper like the Deseret News, government websites, etc.
