Informative Presentation:
For this assignment you will individually deliver a brief informative presentation related to the topic of public speaking and oral communications. You may select any topic within this broad description, and your material may be drawn from a single source, such as an article. The purpose of this assignment is to give you additional experience presenting to the class, while augmenting our study of the discipline of public speaking. Please submit your proposed topic to me for approval prior to preparing your talk.

The presentation will be strictly limited to 5 minutes, including Q&A. Note that the primary goal of this assignment is to provide a vehicle for you to practice using new presentation skills and ideas introduced in this class. Your presentation must include presentation software such as PowerPoint, Prezi, or emaze and must incorporate the best practices in planning, preparing, creating your slides, and delivering your presentation as discussed in class and in the readings.
