Leadership

Communication competency is one of the leadership strategies identified in the book. An individual’s perception such as the knowledge, skills, sensitivity and the values influence the organizations outcomes (Shockley-Zalabak pg205). The perception of competency can be identified as adding up of the preferences and the predispositions mostly for the organizations behavior in regards to communication.

Management is about being the best in terms of creating value and giving progressive ideas which can run an organization and make it a success. Skills achieved can be very crucial as they can increase the level of production in an organization.

People of great minds and who are leaders in most cases do not believe in the success of an organization but the success of the person. Being dedicated about an activity is the only way to succeed. Believing and having a positive mentality about doing something will always create a positive impact in an organization.
