Mistakes were made but not me

Mistakes are not mine

A writer’s style is what makes his or her work unique and attractive to the readers. In the book Mistakes were made but not me, the writer deserves a congratulatory hand for his amazing style that has been developed throughout the book. This makes the story more coherent as people, things and events are being introduced bit by bit.

To start with, the writer has perfected on the sentence fluency whereby parallel ideas are being conveyed in a systematic way. For instance, the writer starts by giving a brief history on how the Iranians came to hate their enemies that is Americans and the Israelites when their leader shah had been taken captive. Shah had done so much evil but the Iranians were still demonstrating for his release without considering what had been done there before. The writer creates a parallel idea on how people fail to admit their wrong actions by justifying them and make others to suffer instead.

The writer’s voice is so persuasive throughout the story. Depending on the incidence he describes, the writer has used both active and passive voice so that the seriousness of the message is portrayed. He has also given the reader a chance to reason on the facts he needs to communicate. This has been achieved by the use of rhetorical questions like who started this and who is to blame.

The climax of his excellence is marked by his amazing choice of words that fit into this context. He has used concise and precise words that are very easily understood by the readers. The writer is also rich in vocabulary, phrases and similes. Many more styles have been used by the writer to come up with the wonderful piece of work.
