Rapist Cannot Be Justify Or Excused In Any Reason

  • Rapist Cannot Be Justify Or Excused In Any Reason
  •             Many of the people who engage in cases of rape try to justify themselves by illustrating various reasons of performing the act. Most the people who perform the act are normal and not out of their mind, us many of us would think. The high percentage of those who rape is men. However, some may argue that even women engage in rape scenarios but the authorities’ record few cases of that kind. The arguments that most of the rapist give tend to show various justifications that they did the act with the right reason. However, I tend to disagree with the excuses and justifications that those who engage in rape activities rise in order to set themselves free from facing the law.
  •             One of the reason why I tend to disagree with the excuse and justifications that the rapist make is that psychiatrist demonstrates that although the issue of raping is some how associated with a disease of the mind, many of the rapist have the ability to control themselves (Scully & Marolla, 530). Research shows that sex is not only the physical act itself, but also a decision made right from the mind. Many of the rapists decide to engage in the act knowing well that it is against norm of the society to perform such act. The argument to is that the rapist have the control of their body before they engage in raping but fail to honor their conscience.
  •             The other reason showing that excuses and justification raised by the rapist hold no ground is the conclusion made by sociologists. They conclude by stating that the fact of rapists admitting they did wrong is clear significance of their knowledge of the immoral act. Many of the rapists admit fully responsibility of the act but they tend to show that they were unable to control themselves. According to the prosecutors argument is that, why does it make the rapists to run away after committing the act, the answer is that because they realize what they were doing is wrong. This is the reason why they ought not to raise any excuse in support of the act.
  •             Rapist should not justify their behavior by accusing women as seductresses. Some of the psychiatry and criminology professions argue that women may lead to the act of rape to happen. They support their argument by saying that women ought to be coy about their sexual availability and should not resist the men desire of having sex (Scully & Marolla, 534). They continue stating that if women fail to comply with men, no one ought to consider the act as rape. However, I tend to disagree with the illustration by stating that women have their right of as human beings of accepting or refusing to engage in the act of sex. As stated earlier, the act of sex is created from the mind of the concerned person and therefore no one ought to force an individual to engage in the act. To support this argument, I may state that most of the rapists have no relationship with the affected person.
  •             Most of the rapist has a criminal background and they engage in the activity with the aim of hurting and ruining the life of the woman in who fall in their trap. Some of the men state that when women say no, they say yes. In their opinion they justify themselves by using the illustration. This is a myth and nothing that exists inn the minds of women. Women have the right to say no to sex and the rapist ought not to justify themselves by trying to play with women minds. In other cases, rapists argue that women relax and enjoy the sexual intercourse and later claim they were raped (Scully & Marolla, 534). This is not the truth because in many of the rape cases, there is struggle before the act happen and the rapist use force while committing the act. Many of the rapists end up harming their victims during the act.
  •             Rapists in justifying their actions nothing they can leave without unmentioned in the course of their arguments. This is mainly common with the men who usually take women as sex objects. For instance, some rapists argue that, “Nice Girls Don’t Get Raped”, since the morally upright and good women are in the right place and attire. They claim that the girls who are raped are those who expose themselves to the occasion and made the man uncomfortable via their conduct (Scully & Marolla, 536). Since their initial presentation matters in that, they do not be branded as whores in the street who are ready for men. Rapists in the law courts make things appear complicated, since they even claim that the victim was willing and even they had a contract agreement where after the and the victim demanded more cash that what they had agreed. Hence, the case leading to court due to her changed decision where the client (rapist) denied the accusation. This is not true and numerous people after the act get away with.
  •             I tend to disagree with the rapists when they justify their actions as “Only a Minor Wrongdoing” and they have done worse action, which is shameful in the eyes of sane human. Rapists may argue that they met with the victim whether in a fix or a common predicament requesting for an assistance where after they engaged in a nice talk. This is prior the culprit afterwards realizing they were in a secluded place and uses all the threatening means like wanting to shoot if the victim does not give in to their demands. The culprit on this basis claims what he did in threatening the victim was wrong but the other act was less evil since benefits were mutual. In addition, the victim if she was not willing they would have engaged in talking to such a long time to the point being friends and being in an isolated place. This is wrong and one in such a bad case cannot dehumanize another and claim it is a minor “wrong doing” (Scully & Marolla, 537).
  •             Rape is unlawful besides other people disapprove it especially the rapists and give all the reasons that may seem they were innocent and it is unjustifiable. Some claim they were under the influence of some drugs, which prompted them to act and behave the way they did. These are the admitters who agree that “Yes” they did it but on given circumstances, thus making a scapegoat of the drugs (Scully & Marolla, 538). Rape admitters due to alcohol and other drugs claim that; in their true sense they cannot act like this where this was only an exceptional case, which guarantees pardon and released if possible without a fine by the court. Drug related cases are numerous in the drinking joints, since rapists blame alcohol whereas the victims state that the culprit took advantage of her situation. This was via overpowering her and his domineering attitude that made her to give in to shun death.
  •             Rape despite the circumstances that usually surround it cannot at all find a basis for justification. Since, this is a personal decision and state of moral responsibility, which the culprit should not have shunned, or else his satisfaction met by agreeing the female counterpart. Rape cases in should be severely punishable by law since the victims undergo trauma if they survive all their life. Sometimes, rape action adversely alters one’s life to extend of having one loose the dignity, hence making one not attaining her full potential in life.
