Individual Reflection on Group

Individual Reflection on Group

The group was able to work together adequately. The group defines the objectives of the project as well as the approaches that would be used to accomplish them.  Individual’s ideas were considered to ensure that conflict or miscommunication did not occur which would destroy relations.  Everyone was punctual and very reliable in all the situated group meetings. Each member was allocated with different roles and responsibility which included researching and coordinating individuals.  Everyone had a role to play in research and this therefore implied that the detailed information that was generated was then analyzed to develop a proper analysis of the research subject.

Communication was conducted through texts, calls, and even emails. This helped in increasing the level of confidence in the entire group as well as accuracy.  However based on the fact that some members hold more researching expertise than others they contributed more in terms or ideas and skills.  This, therefore, acted as a source of knowledge for some individuals which helped as a motivating factor of working together.  The group members were very cooperative and willing to make their contributions and this helped in increasing reliability of the generated information.

The working of the group was effective and everyone worked to accomplish their given goals and agreements of various issues were achieved adequately.  It is clear that group was an effective strategy for gathering information in a short period (Frey, Fisher, & Everlove, 2009).  With the definition of the group's objectives, we managed to match the aims of individuals with those of the groups. Decision making was managed through a thorough consulting every member. This helped to ensure that there was no occurrence of miscommunication.
