school. She has never been involved with police or been disciplined by school 

authorities prior. Explain the options, minimum two, police has to consider. A 

warning or caution is not a suitable answer. Further what are the police obligation 

under the YCJA to the youth and parents during the investigation?

7. Why were the Juvenile Delinquent Act and the Young Offenders Act changed to 

the present Youth Criminal Justice Act? Explain with examples the deficiencies 

of each and how the laws have improved.
