Strategic operations are not full- proof or the same for each company. Explore and research a large corporation, such as Starbucks, Southwest, etc.  What does it take for a company to align their operational processes with their business plans and mission? How does it measure or identify benchmarks for quality service and operations production? Create a 10-slide presentation to highlight the key elements or specific methods for improving performing and providing their service and their production?  Explain methods improvement or process improvement steps used to improve customer relations and supply chain system processes for this company. Answer the following questions in your review and summary report: 



How would you define quality and how is quality measured in this company or industry? 

What service or production activities are not under total control? 

Identify the services activities that affect quality for customers that are totally controlled and those that cannot be controlled. How does the company resolve external factors that impact quality? 

What methods or process improvement strategies might you consider improving service or production operations?

10 slide Power Point Presentation
The post project for this lesson is required to be a minimum of 750 words in addition to the Power Point Presentation that clearly demonstrate your understanding of the activity. Post project essays should have a clear introduction, thesis statement and conclusion, written in APA format (Purdue OWL). A minimum of three sources, at least two from the lesson, must be cited in-text and in the Reference list.  
Both the 10 slide Presentation and the Essay must be submitted as a single document. With the presentation embedded in the document. Create a 10 slide presentation. Explain how the operating system is used to improve customer relations and supply chain system processes for this small business.

Step 2: Write a summary paper of your findings, considering the questions above.  
Summarize the findings of your research in 750-word paper, multi-paragraph and a 10-slide presentation to be turned in for grading. You may use any presentation tool of your choice as long as you can integrate it into a single document with your essay submission.
