Answer both of the questions below with at least a one and a half page response per question (total paper should be 3.5-5.5 pages.

Select a character from any book/movie/tv show you want.  Use that character to address the following questions.

1) Discuss how your character view culture.  What aspects of culture do they seem to approve of/disapprove of?  In what ways do we see them interacting with culture?  Would you consider them a part of a counterculture or subculture?

2)If your character were in our Sociology class, do you think they would identify more with the Conflict perspective or the Functionalist perspective?  Discuss what is in the book/movie/tv show to support that
