Attaining success in this course one has to be very committed to developing their particular skills and especially those that regards communication.  Being ready to learn ensures that students gains knowledge in an increased speed (Jacobs & Hyman, 2013).  Having well-developed objectives and plans of achieving the particular goals helps in ensuring that one remains  focused and objected to the  goals at all times.  This does not necessarily imply that one should not pay attention to other activities. Having a plan assists in allocating time for everything without fail as  this  means that  things  have to be accomplished at the allocated time only (Jacobs & Hyman, 2013). One is thus required to give up those things that are not beneficial in order to attain full success in the course as commitment is the key to development.

My advice to students undertaking online courses is that despite the fact that the virtual courses provide much flexibility they are very similar to learning in person.  Learning courses on the online platform requires much commitment, discipline as well as the adequate organization.  This is the characteristics that are necessary for all the successful students no matter the mode they utilize in attaining their target.  Online courses are tricky because they require an individual to maintain their drive and determination without fail (Jacobs & Hyman, 2013).  The fact that online courses can be done at the student's pace is wrong.  This is because one has flexibility but this does not mean that learning is made easier, in fact, it is very hard in this nature because one depends fully on self (Jacobs & Hyman, 2013).  One has to make personal decisions that are responsible for determining their general success.  One should, therefore, develop a plan and ensure that it is followed on daily basis.
