Cultural Identity

Cultural Identity

Introduction

Culture is an essential part of conflict resolution thereby; it influences individual’s perceptions as well as behavior. There is always a cultural component where conflict touches our lives making us venerable hence; generate meaning of our identity. Conflict develops an interpersonal relationship with culture whereby; a simple misunderstanding occurs due to cultural differences. Nevertheless, society creates a distinction between various individuals due to race, gender plus social class whereby; some people gain favor over others. Further, the distinction results to bias and prejudice whereby; cultures tend to believe that there are superior over other ethnicity (Warne 45).  I would argue that communities are embedded in every conflict thereby; affects the manner in which we frame our relationship with other. Nevertheless, every society has its own pride that indicates how each deals with conflict in various ways. However, culture and identity come hand in hand because; an individual is exposed to cultural events as well as the mindset. Unity and coherence are generated through an indisputable fact that no society exists without a culture thus; understanding that it is the only life of people. Thereby, to support the argument, I would suggest that every culture exists for a reason despite its size or customs since; most developments in societies are as a result of cultural ideas.

Thesis

The main challenges people face today are as a result of globalization, economic crises as well as the rapid change in communities and societies. However, these issues are generated by an implication of people finding better ways of living together through the approach of cultural unity in diversity. Community learns from each other and, every individual has a possibility of making a unique as well as a positive contribution to the larger society thereby; every team requires unity for easy mobilization and progress (Warne 42-56).

In the current days, not everyone feels the connection with their cultural heritage because some think that traditions are irrelevant. People from different social groups have thereby, joined hand to generate a dynamic feature on their society to enhance unity as well as harmony. However, cultures connect individuals to various social values whereby; they can identify with each other a similar mindset as well as backgrounds. Despite the issues of variation in different cultures, it is essential in bringing people together whereby; they experience the fun and interests of different people’s social groups (Warne 37).   Cultural diversity has become an important concept in the society today since people have embraced other communities through interactions.  However, unity has been generated from cultural development whereby; the society has acknowledged diversity by promoting the ability of people to participate in cultural life.

Communal support has highly created unity and coherence through cultural heritage, by encouraging various activities, especially in conflict areas. However, heritage brings people together since it enables the most affect community to reconnect with their identities. People have embraced different cultural heritage by valuing them and supporting others in keeping their cultural traditions alive (Gamble 84). However, the unity is gained through a developed relationship among people in different cultures, and an understanding what goes on in their lives. Nevertheless, a relationship is the key aspect in bringing rationality to the community since; people are assured that the journey belongs to everyone.

Cultural interaction is another major issue on community diversity that has enhanced unity despite, being a very complex aspect of cultural diversity.  However, people have understood that cultures are created through communication whereby; social characteristics are created as well as shared. Interaction and culture are related to the ability to share ideas as well as feelings by human concept whereby; ethnicity is learned, acted as well as exchanged through communication. Further, communication is the only possible way for people to maintain their culture as well as unity in the society (Warne 42-56).

Communication had been a core issue in the society because many cultures entail different languages. However, through a common language, the society has developed a framework that takes into account various features involved in interacting. I believe that communication is essential in the society since it is a powerful tool that influences cultural identity. Cultural diversity is related to the geographical environment whereby; about global communication the world has become a small city of intelligence (Sarah 126). Additionally, people communicate with the aim of understanding themselves as well as the contributions they make to the society.

Community diversity has ultimately encouraged people to be part of a bigger picture, and significant. Different cultural perspectives inspire creativity plus drive innovation whereby; diversity of thoughts has been viewed to breed creativity. It is through festivals and other social activities that communities celebrate diversity thus; promote peace among different individuals. Culture has brought people together with the realization that, the gap has neither impact nor interest. Interaction has provided a sense of home that makes people appreciate their culture, and identify their gifts thus; realizes that they are making a difference. However, unity has been generated from cultural development whereby; the society has acknowledged diversity by promoting the ability of people to participate in cultural life (Gamble 84).
