What is the purpose of the document? Does the document effectively support its intended purpose? Explain your reasoning.

The purpose of the document is to market ACME products, thus enabling the company to partner with the ABC Enterprises. The document does not effectively support its intended purpose, simply because, Smith has not clearly described the services that the company offers. Tutors who offer custom coursework writing help at Edudorm essay writing service acknowledges that this therefore makes it hard for one to be able to understand how the company provides widgets. Moreover, Smith has only said how good their products are, thus forgetting to clearly explain how the services they offer are unique as compared to that of other companies.

Who is the audience for this document? Does the document effectively target its intended audience? Explain your reasoning.

The audience for this document is Mr William. The document has clearly targeted its intended audience, although it has been very brief in explaining the reason for writing the letter. Smith, who is the senior contract agent at ACME Widgets Inc., has not been able to clearly point out all the services offered by the company. This therefore makes it hard for him to be able to convince William to accept his products. William will not therefore be able to understand Smith before they actually meet face to face.

Is the format of the document appropriate for its intended purpose and audience? Explain your reasoning.

The format of the document is not appropriate for its intended purpose for the audience,. This is mainly because, the document has not been written in a formal format. Instructors who offer coursework assistance at Edudorm essay writing service argues that the letter only contains one address, at the top left, and it lacks an actual address format which begins with a date instead of a name. Moreover, it looks more of an informal letter that a formal letter, the paragraphs are corresponding to each other, thus making the document to look bogus.

Does the document contain factual, practical information written in a concise, clear manner? Explain and provide examples to support your reasoning.

The document does not contain factual practical information written in a concise and clear manner. This is so because, the writer has not clearly explained his points, thus making it hard for one to be able to understand the intended purpose of the writing, for instance, when he says that their process includes the best raw materials, he does not provide the evidence to show how their products are of the best raw materials. This only makes the document to be full of information which does not clearly support itself.

From an overall perspective, what makes this document effective or ineffective? Support your reasoning with evidence from your textbook or another appropriate source.

The format used in writing the document makes it very ineffective, thus one cannot be able to understand the main information carried in the document. Smith begins with introducing himself and he goes on to give the reason as to why he is writing the letter. Tutors who offer English coursework help at Edudorm essay writing service acknowledges that this does not explain why he has decided to write to Williams. Smith only wrote to William simply because he was asked to do so by his employee. Secondly, Smith does not polite language when talking to a client, thus making it to more ineffective.

If you were asked to rewrite this document, what changes would you recommend? Why?

If I was asked to rewrite this document, I would first change the format of writing and then use polite language. I would change the format in order to make the letter appealing to the reader. This will also allow the reader to take the message seriously because of my seriousness in writing (Seglin, Coleman, & Amacom, 2012). Furthermore, I would use a polite language in order to make the reader to be attracted to the services offered by the company. Similarly, I would also further explain each and every point that I give thus showing how our services are very effective.
