This assignment calls for TWO documents, a memo and a letter.  For the memo:  You are a representative of the USA Olympic Committee, and need to write a memo to Mr. Larry Probst, President/Chair of the US Olympic Committee. You will select a company which would make a good candidate for Olympic sponsorship. Outlay is at least $75 million.  Sponsorship will be of two kinds:  goods or services, or a combination of the two. Clearly, you will need to select a large corporation.  Your memo to Mr. Probst will explain why you have chosen this company, and will further explain in great detail precisely what will be expected form them.



Then, you will be Larry Probst and will write a letter to the CEO of the targeted corporation, again detailing what is being OFFERED to them.  Here you must be very, very PERSUASIVE, as your task is to impress upon them the unique and wonderful opportunity being afforded them by this invitation to become an Olympic sponsor.  Emphasize the great PR opportunity they are being given here.
