Paper Instructions:

The book review paper will be approximately 5-7 pages with footnotes/endnotes just referenced to the text itself.  The purpose of the paper is to choose two of the main historical figures in Joseph Ellis's book, Founding Brothers.  The paper will analyse the role played by those chosen historical figures and discuss how those figures contributed to the founding of the United States of America and how such contributions coincided with those of the other figures discussed in the book.  For example, one may wish to choose George Washington and John Adams in the various chapters and discuss in the paper how their particular actions coincided with those of others and with each other in the overall creation of the United States.  The main thesis of the book stresses the fraternal collaboration of many with common objectives in the creation of a unique political experiement peculiar to the geography and circumstances of North America south of the 49th parallel.  What exactly did they envision as a group and as individuals in this unique, historical collaboration?
