There is No Hope of Doing Perfect Research.

            The sole purpose of conducting research is to come up with factual evidence that supports the accepted theories. It also entails the detailed study which is carefully done on newly discovered knowledge.  I as well support that there is no guarantee in doing perfect research because of several reasons.  If research conducted is perfect, there wouldn’t be need for revising proven theories. This hence would mean knowledge would be limited. This would be due to lack of an opportunity of gaining new knowledge that would render  new improvements .People would be stuck with more challenges because there would be no advancement on knowledge acquired.

            The typical example of a research that was carried out in the solar system, clearly shows that there is no end to a research. We grew being taught there are nine planets in the solar system which was identified by the earlier researchers. Tombaugh discovered the presence of Pluto which was seconded by several astronomers which led to Pluto being publicly announced. Pluto was given the title of being a planet on the solar system. After a research done on August 2006 by the international Astronomical Union, Pluto became discredited as being the one of planet in the solar system .The knowledge that had been implanted on us on having Pluto as one the planets was swept away. .This was due to the new rule by the International Astronomical Union after their research. The rule stated that planets should be clear the neighborhood around its orbit .If research that had been conducted was perfect there would have not been any need for revision of the proven theory. This primarily verifies that there is no hope of doing perfect research (Griffiths 79).

                       The use of the sun and other constellations of the stars as a guidance in foreseeing a person’s destiny by early astrologers. This lead to the birth of the zodiac signs that have been used over the centuries till now. The signs can be used to point a person’s personality .They also provide with adequate information that they may require to plant and harvest crops. Zodiac is the road map of people lives, the signs play an important role in people lives .Astrology is prepared for a child after birth to foresee the infants’ future. Minneapolis Star Tribune in January 2011 made an announcement that the zodiac signs had shifted. This change meant a change in peoples` personality also affecting many lives of people that depended on the horoscopes as a way of livelihood. This example proves that there is no hope of doing perfect research (Griffiths 79).

            In conclusion, as stated above, I support that there is no hope of doing perfect research. This is because there is a continuous improvement of proven theory due to the modern continuous researches. This ensures improvement of knowledge and also making lives better for human beings. New researches tend to modify previous ones by improving them or totally changing them. This makes it clear that there is no hope for perfect research. Research is always continuous as people aim to get solutions to their researches and also aim to get more and new knowledge. Research will be ongoing for ages and ages due to people’s curiosity.
